Why is the estate called “Chez Charles”? 

The former owner of the farmstead was called Charles and our common hobby – the horses – united us. He became our “chosen grandpa”. He taught us how to ride a carriage and how to make hay and straw. We were really lucky to learn a lot of other agricultural activities from him, such as pressing our own apple juice, making wine, taking care of a garden… He showed us the most beautiful places to go to with a carriage. We will never forget those days in the middle of nature, with picknick, children, dogs and horses. He always had time for us. He will stay unforgotten and that is why the farmstead is named after him.
